My dad is hilarious sometimes
Me: Hello?
My Dad: I NEED YOUR FAVOR.
Me: You need a favor from me?
My Dad: I NEED YOU TO DRAW A PICTURE.
Me: Okay, I can do that.
My Dad: OF A MONKEY.
Me: Okay.
My Dad: RIDING A DEER.
Me: Sure.
My Dad: CARRYING A JAPANESE FLAG.
Me: Okay..
My Dad: ... BEING CHASED BY A BAD MONKEY -- YOU HAVE TO MAKE IT REALLY BAD
Me: Uh-- okay
My Dad: AND IT HAS TO BE CARRYING A BASEBALL BAT
Me: A monkey carrying a Japanese flag, riding a deer, being chased by a bad monkey, carrying a baseball bat.
My Dad: YES.



My dad is going back to Japan and will be visiting an old friend of his from middle school, who lives in Nara now (Nara is famous for its deer shrine -- I've been there once, it's not as cool as it sounds). Apparently back in middle school this guy had a nickname 'monkey' (or probably 'saru' or whatever). My dad is the "REALLY BAD MONKEY," he was a bad seed when he was a kid, also he liked baseball.

My dad's something like 68 now, how is he still in touch with people from middle school. And why does he still act like he hasn't aged since then. XD
